Our Values
Our core values leads us along the Wilderness TRAILS of Trust, Responsibility, Accountability, Innovation, Loyalty, & Safety. These values guide us and underpin every aspect of what we do. We aim to build trust between the instructor and customer, instilling confidence and the ability to tackle any problem that arises safely. Whether you are a individual beginner or an experienced bushcraft organisation, we will deliver to the highest standard, guiding you to achieve your aspirations in the wilderness.

Trust
Building trust is a fundamental part of building ongoing relationships and being able to lead in any environment. We start this by ensuring that we are knowledgeable and qualified in what we teach. We also encourage this in group activities, providing opportunity for others to develop trust and build their confidence in the subjects they are learning.
Responsibility
We will ensure that we are responsible for our actions and follow a leave no trace ethos, to help protect the wilderness environments that we operate in. We must also ensure that the legal aspects of what we train are understood to ensure we all stay within the law, as we have a duty of care to our customers. Finally we are responsible for clients achieving their objectives and ensuring that they have fun during the process.

Accountability
Understanding that our actions have effects on our own and others ability to survive in the wilderness, is intrinsic to our values. Developing a survival mindset will allow you to thrive where others may struggle but in turn will also allow you to help others achieve their potential.
Innovation
With an extensive foundation of knowledge and experience, we also look forward, so we can continue to develop our understanding of both ancient and modern techniques/equipment, to ensure our delivery remains up to date. We must also have a continuous improvement mentality to survive and provide the very best training experience.

Loyalty
The Wolf in the I.Survival logo represents loyalty to the pack, in this instance, our clients and to our wider bushcraft community and family. Having undergone extensive training provided by industry leading experts, the wolf also represents a link to the teaching and learning journey we all undertake.
Safety
Safety is integral to everything we do and in what we teach. Survival and Bushcraft has some elements of risk, but with training and experience, these risks can be reduced and mitigated. Those having undergone training will be able to go and operate in a safe manor with confidence.
